Spotlight on the Hero
I'm an all-or-nothing kind of man. After losing several loved
ones in my life, I swore off emotional attachments. Instead, I spend my time focusing
on my job, and helping others when I can. Currently, I'm seeking answers to questions
concerning a computer code I wrote in college that might now be in the wrong hands.
During my quest, I didn't expect you to pop up on my screen,
to seduce me with your on-line charisma and spunky attitude. Even though I'd promised
myself I'd never get close to another again, somehow being on-line with you didn't
seem like getting close...until I was already hooked.

pronounced, but the characters are lovable and the storyline is well-developed.
Sydney is capable and fearless in her line of work and needs no rescuing. Jake
is a very special hero with a sense of humor who never gives up and when he goes

start to finish. Ms. Michelle has written a tale that is a one sitting read.

Although the climax of the mystery is glossed over (actually a refreshing change
for the genre,not having an overly melodramatic confrontation), I really enjoyed
this latest entry from Ms. Michelle. I'm guessing that there will be at least
one or maybe two sequels to this story. Jake is a truly memorable hero, who learns
that there's more to life than wheeling and dealing. With Sydney by his side,

world. First three words that popped into this reviewer's head to describe
the story were edgy, engaging and erotic. Jake is a man who won't give up
and Sydney is a woman who won't give in. The sparks they strike off each
other are electrifying. The background of video game development and a light overlay
of international intrigue add spice to an already hot story. There is a tantalizing
hint at the end of the story that this is not the last the reader will see of
Jake and Sydney, and this reviewer is happily awaiting any future stories with
