the very sweet and talented Anya Bast
While I figure out how to upload some neat pics I took the other day, I’ll blog about well…blogging. Anya tagged me, so here goes…
When did you start blogging and why? Sometime in late 2004, I believe. I started my blog on Bravenet’s Journal, then moved to a Wordpress based blog once I had my website redesigned. The reason I started blogging escapes me, but I think it had to do with people comparing ebooks to print books’ royalties and that was the day I started blogging.
What don’t you talk about? Like Anya said, I avoid controversial subjects on my blog for the very reason I want my blog to be a fun place to visit.
Are you and your blogging persona the same person? Sure, when I blog, that’s very much moi.
How do you use blogging to build friendships? I know friends have done guest blogging and viral blogging and I think that’s a neat concept. Truth be told, half the time I check out my buddies’ blogs to see what’s up with them if I haven’t talked to them in a while. So in that respect their blogs have kept me up to date with them.
How would you describe your writing style? Hmmm, my writing style? On my blog? Pretty upbeat and I try to be informative when I run across something interesting. I also feel that blogs are a great way to share some news, be it my own or another author’s news.
So I’ll tag the following authors: Cheyenne McCray, Sam Winston and Jordan Summers.
