Worthy of a second look!
Grrrrr, I’m typing this for the second time! Dunno what bleepin’ button I hit but zap, it was gone! Time for a redo.
I tried to think of something witty to post tonight or even some writing/craft subject matter to impart, but after working so hard on several partials recently, my brain is mush…or was it because I stayed up until 3 am…ahem….
Anyway, I thought I’d share a post from my old blog (that old blog STILL gets lots of hits for some reason *insert surprised look here*). This is my way of getting around my new blog’s inability to import posts from my old blog. *g*
This blog entry is worthy of reposting and I’d always intended to transfer that “old post” to my new blog at some point. Tonight is as good a time as any. For an uplifiting trailer that will touch on all your senses, check out the link below. And don’t forget to check out the musician’s website where she has samples of her other music….all wonderful!
A bit of inspiration for the dreamer in all of us…
You know…sometimes you’re so touched by something that inspires you, you just HAVE to share. A fellow author recently posted this link to a trailer and she talked about how inpirational it was. (Be sure to turn your sound ON!). Not only was the artwork and inspirational titles on the pictures inspiring but the music..aahh, the music is what MADE the trailer work so well. I smiled because I’d seen this trailer over a year ago and loved the music so much I asked on several boards where the link had been posted if anyone knew who’d composed the score. No one knew.
Well, now I do! When I clicked on the trailer link, this time there was a link on the trailer with credit to the musician…Martine Lund Hoel.
You know music has touched you if it’s soulful sound has stuck with you well over a year later. I was thrilled I was finally able to tell the artist how much I appreciated her talent. She was gracious and kind in her response to my email. I wish her tremdous success in her musical career…she’s a rare talent indeed!
So…I’ve made it easy for you, here’s a direct link to her site. Watch the trailer above and then check out this talented muscian’s other musical offerings! If you like music with Celtic undertones, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
